What’s It All About?

Why We Are Here [according to The Law of One]:

  • The primary purpose of an entity is, in this density [3D], to experience all things desired.
  • Analyze, accept and understand these experiences
  • Distill the love and wisdom that can be found within them
  • If your desire would infringe on others, exercise your imagination [experience it in your imagination, get the wisdom, and release your judgment].

Trying to overcome something means you haven’t actually mastered the teaching. If you want it, do it until you’re sick of it.

Transcend hope and fear. That which you resist persists. When you are focused on something even to “overcome” it, you are obsessed by it.

The Law of One, also known as the The Ra Material, is a series of five books  published between 1982 and 1998 by Schiffer Books. The material was channeled through Carla L. Rueckert, on questions asked by Don Elkins and transcribed by Jim McCarty. The material itself comes from a spokesperson of a civilization of 6th density benevolent beings who have been instrumental in human/earth development for eons. John Armitage/Hari Das Baba at a recent 13D Teacher Training:

One thing I learned from Mary Magdalene a long time ago, no matter how people judge you, if you know who you are in your heart well then there’s never any need to defend yourself. This is a great lesson for humanity.  My thing now in this, sometimes I get criticized when I destroy these concepts of spirituality and so on, so people don’t like me. When people judge me, my reaction nowadays is, I’m in service to humanity, so I can be anything you like.

I asked Mary Magdalene, “Why has it taken so long for your energy to surface again on the planet? Why has it taken so long?” She said, “I know who I am. Why should I defend myself? I just have to wait for the right time, and the time is now.”

John Armitage/Hari Das Baba at a recent 13D Teacher Training:

I was doing a Shamballa class in Wormwood Scrubs, a prison for notorious criminals. I had mostly very hardened criminals in this class. I walked up to one man, who everyone in the prison was afraid of, including the guards—he’d killed a number of people. I walked up to him and I put my arms around him and I said, “You know, I really love you. I really, really love you.” He looked at me and said, “nobody in my whole life ever told me that they loved me. From this I realize I shouldn’t have done what I did. But also—I’m not making any excuses, but I killed 4 people, but I didn’t know anything about love until just a few minutes ago. If I’d known about love, what the feeling of it is, I wouldn’t have killed them. I would have loved them, wouldn’t I?” So this is another illustration of how love changes everything. We have a habit of looking for the imbalances instead of seeing everything is perfection.”

My guru in India asked me once if I’d ever killed anybody. I said, “No. When we were in the military we just played at it.” He asked if I’d ever thought I’d like to kill someone. I supposed that there had been times that I was so angry I’d thought that. He asked, “Well why didn’t you do it?” “I dunno, maybe it’s fear of being locked up for a long time, or judged or whatever.” “Well, if you thought it you might as well have done it. It’s the same thing.”  These are all things to think about. Thoughts are energy.

We’re taught to judge others and ourselves, to conform, to do what’s “appropriate” for society. Here’s my message: don’t conform.

John Armitage aka Hari Das Baba, 13D Teacher Training-2016

I often talk about ego, because it’s an important subject. We have 2 versions. One is an insane being that sits on our shoulder and tries to convince us to be afraid of everything. We have this other that’s based in the medulla, or what we commonly called the reptilian brain, and this takes care of all the below conscious mind activity.

People are addicted to the hormones that are excreted when they are angry, fearful, etc. My helper Chang told me, “When it all kicks up, just watch yourself. Your ego will drive you. You will have a release of hormones in your body. First they hit your feet, and then in a split second they hit your head. That’s when you need to take a deep breath, or you’ll respond in anger.” It can also help to repeat a mantra like I Am that I Am the Mahatma in Love. Everything changes then. This is the simplicity of how to deal with things. You can make it as complicated as you like. We make things so simple for you that your ego will have a hard time believing it. The ego believes that if its worth doing, it has to be hard.

One of the great things in New Paradigm MDT is that we’re constantly encouraging people to take responsibility and take responsibility for their actions. A lot of people are very judgmental and judgmental of the self, and this creates problems for getting the love to flow through the heart.

The insane ego is constantly trying to convince us that it is real, and it ruins our lives. The ego is never idle, always needs something to do. It’s always pushing you, complaining, focusing on things not relevant to our lives. When the ego does this, you can’t hear your heart. Your I Am is talking to you, your heart is talking to you, but when you listen to the ego you’re in your head. Constant judgment, constant generation of fear. False Energy Appearing Real becomes F*** Everything And Run when your ego is in charge.

My Druidic Education—part 2
by Mark

My grandmother started showing me different herbs in the woods and fields around the house, when I was very young. We would go out and gather herbs to dry or to make into tinctures and decoctions, depending on the plant and/or the intended use. One day she had me go out to pick hops. There were nine clumps of hops growing up the side of a building. I went and harvested what I thought was the right amount for making a sleeping draught. This was actually for me, because I was so hyper I had trouble sleeping. I tried the medicine, and it worked.

Then she had me do it again, but this time go ask, “Which plants want to come and make medicine to help me sleep?” When I heard, “Yes,” I picked from those plants only. We made medicine from this harvest. They were knock-out drops! The first medicine, if I drank enough, would put me to sleep. With the second medicine, a few drops in a cup of water would immediately put me to sleep.

Everything is sentient, and because it’s sentient, we always have to ask, about everything. When you get an “OK, we’re going to work together,” it’s 100%. It’s kind of like with a human, when you get someone to do something that they don’t want to, versus when they do want to. Plants and chemicals have those same properties.

So if a person collects an herb to make a tea, when the plant is first asked and sMarks family_0005ays “yes”, the tea is more potent by far. It has the heart. That’s the key. When the heart says “yes”, you’ve got all of it together. All of the plant’s lineage is tied up with what you’re making—millions and billions of connections, years, experience. There’s a power that comes in as you make things in this cooperative, co-creative way.

When you reach all the way back through this lineage, by asking first, the result really is way more potent than if you just go and take from the plant. When the “yes” is happening, it changes everything. The “yes” itself opens doors, that if you don’t have open, the power is much less. Some is there, but nothing like what’s available when you have full cooperation.

As I was reading a recent astrological report from Lorna Bevan  this phrase jumped out at me: “Life begins beyond my comfort zone.” I can relate. Looking back at my own life, I can see that such times “beyond my comfort zone” have been the times of greatest growth. The trick is to recognize this while immersed in new and probably fearful and painful territory.

The comfort zone represents complacency. I LOVE my comfort zone! It’s cozy, predictable, won’t push my buttons or push me beyond my perceived limits. It’s a great place for a rest. It’s also eventually boring. Why are we here? To feel comfortable? Or to experience life as a human in its fullest possibility, as a part of and representative of Source? I’m sure it’s the latter.

I’m not talking about drama, here. We create drama when we want to avoid dealing with something outside the zone. Drama drags us back into the zone, and is another form of it—a distraction from discovering and facing truth. To many, pain and suffering represent the comfort zone, because they are familiar and “predictable.” We can avoid self-searching and self-knowledge, we can avoid taking responsibility for ourselves, by immersing ourselves in drama and victimhood.

I remember John Armitage once telling a story about when he started teaching Shamballa as Master Germain wanted him to, helping people move beyond Reiki. Those who felt challenged by his teachings, who were afraid of losing comfortable doctrines and ways of doing things that they held dear, or perhaps just losing their livelihood, protested. Some sent hate mail. As he was driving to teach somewhere in Europe, he was remonstrating to Kuthumi (John often has conversations with multidimensional Masters on his road trips). “Why should I continue with this project? Look at how these people are reacting!” etc. etc. Kuthumi came back with, “My friend, you are not here to become the world’s most popular person.” John says that got him back on track. Yes, he was outside his comfort zone. John usually is. He’s learned to live there, and that is the mark of mastery.

One of my favorite quotes is from Neal Donald Walsh’s Conversations With God:

The reason that the true master does not complain is that the true master is not suffering, but simply experiencing a set of circumstances that you would call insufferable.

I’ve got that one up on my bathroom mirror, staring me in the face every morning as I wash the sleep out of my eyes and the dream-webs out of my brain. There are many times in my life that I have found myself muttering, “I’m merely experiencing! I’m merely experiencing! I’m merely experiencing!” Such as the time my car died at a stoplight in the middle of a 4-lane highway (it turned out a tow truck had pulled up right behind me. THANKS, universe!). Or when my house burned down—and two years later my temporary house as well. Or last week when the water froze and the chimney got stopped up, all during minus 20 degree weather. That time I was shouting “What the bleep am I supposed to be learning here!” Not my finest moment.

Once we can get over ourselves and laugh during such experiences “outside our comfort zones” we are on the way to mastery, to living a joyful life, to experiencing life on earth as a true human and a spiritual being having a human experience.

So, pat yourself on the back when you remember to be thankful for those times that life pushed you outside the comfort zone. Laugh at yourself when you remember times that perhaps you went beyond merely experiencing, and those around you learned a few new words. You’re human! But not ONLY human. And human is a pretty cool thing to be.

In love & light, Phyllis

Channeled through John Armitage:

Every person brings us a gift, whether we are able to see what the gift is, or whether we are open to receive the gift at the time. Everything that happens to us in our lives is a gift. At very high altitudes, trees adjust themselves, so that the wind doesn’t blow them over. A tree which is huge at sea level, at 30,000 feet above sea level still grows, but adjusts itself, so that the winds don’t blow it, so that the cold doesn’t damage it. We can see that the consciousness of the tree is exactly the same, whether it is at sea level or at 30,000 feet above sea level. So we can see each and every one of us like that. When the winds blow strong and cold, well then, we just adjust ourselves, so that the wind blows through us, instead of blowing us over. So I understand that the winds have been blowing cold, and many are at an altitude that they are not used to. It’s a question of holding your consciousness, that greatness that is you, that expansive consciousness, that expansive being in creation. Just allow the winds to blow around you and stand steady, stand steady in your love, stand steady in your hearts, stand steady in your minds, stand steady in your light.

I’d like you to understand, each and every one of you, that every situation we are put in helps us to grow. Sometimes in this growth process, as human beings, when we don’t understand what the process is, when we don’t understand what is happening around us, through our feelings of separation, then it’s possible for our conscious minds to start running amok. Again, I don’t criticize, I observe and I pass on to you what I observe. When I say it’s possible for the conscious mind to run amok, I mean it’s possible to go back into fear-generated feelings of separation. For when the conscious mind is not focused, you are like a cork on the open sea, being buffeted by the waves. All it takes to bring yourself back into focus, is to look into your heart, to look into your mind, and to say, “I Am, I Am the Divine, I Am Love, I Am steadfast, for I Am of the Creator, Mother-Father God.”
